Improving Livelihood.
IMPROVING LOVELIHOOD.
St. Justin Foundation is dedicated to empowering children and youth with disabilities to become Self/waged employed by increasing their careers to respond to market-oriented skills; increasing access to productive assets including access to markets. Through this, they are able to diversify their livelihood options, increase their incomes, and become economically resilient.
The foundation supports youth with disabilities either by providing vocational training through referrals to vocational technical colleges or by offering courses in tailoring, welding, computer skills, and carpentry at its training workshops. These programs are designed to equip young people with the skills necessary for self-reliance.
We collaborate with vocational training institutes, local businesses, community leaders, and government agencies to create inclusive economic opportunities for children and youth with disabilities (CYWDs). This includes fostering partnerships that promote employment opportunities and accessible work environments for individuals with disabilities. By integrating CYWDs into the local economy, we empower them personally while also working to reduce poverty within their families and communities. Through the establishment of social groups, St. Justin Foundation aims to ensure that CYWDs have the opportunity to achieve financial independence and lead dignified, productive lives.
Additionally, we have successfully employed three youth with disabilities who demonstrate exceptional professionalism and efficiency in their roles. Through these efforts, we advocate for the inclusion of youth with disabilities in the employments market.
